Introduction

Coaching is rapidly gaining ground as a key skill for healthcare leaders and educators and many physicians are looking for coach training opportunities. To meet this need and support its members, SEA has partnered with SeattleCoach® to offer a pilot program - Coach Training for Leaders and Educators in Healthcare (CFLinHC). This 3-month practical online program offers SEA members the opportunity to learn key coaching skills and their application to leadership and education through a tried and tested program tailored to the unique needs of healthcare leaders and educators.

Brief History

In 2015 leaders and their organizations began to ask SeattleCoach® for customized executive coaching education. In response, a rich cohort experience, Coaching for Leaders (CFL), was co-created for organizational leaders and their teams. After 6 successful years and in response to increasing demand from physicians Coaching for Leaders in Healthcare (CFLinHC) was launched in 2022 to a group of 20 university physicians and leaders.
